Electronic Certificate Registration and Definition of Goods and Services
Electronic certificates are registered by The Market Pavilion Hotel, Grill 225, and The Pavilion Bar. An Electronic Certificate may not be exchanged for U.S. Currency. Electronic certificates may only be used to purchase goods and services from The Market Pavilion Hotel, Grill 225, and The Pavilion Bar. An electronic certificate may be purchased and issued to an individual of the buyer's choice. Once the certificate has been purchased and issued, the certificate will become the ownership of the email recipient at that time, and the Electronic Certificate will be nontransferable. Certificates can be used for separate transactions on varying dates until the dollar value of the Electronic Certificate has been depleted to zero dollar ($0.00) value or until the 60 month expiration has been reached. U.S. currency will not be exchanged for any value remaining on any Electronic Certificate.
Expiration
Electronic certificates will expire after 60 months from the date of purchase. Electronic certificates will have a zero dollar ($0.00) value after the 60 month expiration date printed on the top left of the Electronic Certificate.
Eligibility - Events and Corporate Groups
Electronic Certificates are available for Weddings, Private Events, Corporate groups or Organizations for a period of 60 months from the date of the purchase transaction. Electronic Certificates are only accepted as forms of payment for Weddings, Private Events, Corporate groups or organizations if purchased at least 60 days prior to the beginning of the scheduled function date or arrival date.
Nullification of Certificate Values - Events and Corporate Groups
If Electronic Certificates have NOT been purchased at least 60 days prior to the beginning scheduled function date or arrival date, the individual or company responsible for the said function will not be eligible to benefit from the Electronic Certificate yield/savings. As a result, the certificate yield/savings will be nullified and will only be accepted as payment based on the actual purchase price of the certificate, not the face value of the certificate. If the actual purchase price of the certificate is less than the agreed or contracted amount due for the Wedding, Private Event or Corporate Group or Organization function, any and all deficits owed to the Market Pavilion Hotel, Grill 225 or Pavilion Bar will be required to be paid in full. Electronic Certificates may not be combined with any form of discount, promotion or negotiated rate reduction as they pertain to Weddings, Private Events or Corporate groups.
Interest Maturity
Electronic Certificates will achieve a one time interest maturity at the time of purchase. Interest rates at the time of the purchase are fixed for 60 months and do not vary. Electronic Certificate values are printed specifically on each Certificate and do not increase in value from the purchase date.
Promotional Restrictions
Electronic Certificates are considered to be a promotion and may not be combined with any form/type of discount, promotion or Food and Beverage Vouchers as it relates to the Market Pavilion Hotel, Grill 225 or Pavilion Bar.
Auditing
The Market Pavilion Hotel reserves the right for 60 days from the date of departure to audit each guest's folio and apply any charges that result from inappropriate compounding of promotions. All standard hotel terms and conditions including the hotel's 48-hour cancellation policy, as it pertains to the guest's reservation, will apply.
Redemption Directions
A photo ID may be required to be presented to a Market Pavilion Hotel, Grill 225 or Pavilion Bar representative before the redemption can occur. An Electronic Certificate recipient must have a printed copy of their Certificate in their physical possession with photo Identification in order to receive their credit.
Gratuities
Electronic Certificate balances are nontransferrable to employees of the Market Pavilion Hotel, Grill 225 or Pavilion Bar. Guests are asked to be considerate of the original guest check subtotal, prior to the application of the Electronic Certificate, when calculating gratuities for the service staff.
